Projects

Our healthy relationships programme aims to help young people, parents and families across Highland to build stronger, healthier relationships. Healthy relationships are at the heart of our wellbeing. They help us feel connected, valued and supported – yet we know that many young people and families in Highland face challenges around communication, trust, conflict, and the pressures of everyday life. Our new programme is designed to offer preventative support before difficulties reach a crisis point.

We are currently piloting fun and interactive sessions across high schools in Highland which explores communication, managing emotions, conflict resolution, trust, and online relationships. Young people and families are shaping this programme to make sure it reflects real needs and experiences, we welcome people of all backgrounds, identities and family structures.

We are currently working to create additional workshops tailored to young families, supporting young parents and carers to strengthen their relationships and build positive family connections

For those who are in financial hardship, we also offer free, confidential one to one counselling for young people and families who need extra help

Strong healthy relationships are proven to improve mental health, wellbeing and resilience – if you’d like to know more, take part in a workshop, or get involved as a volunteer, we’d love to hear from you!
